Optix doesn’t rely on an existing provider’s infrastructure or equipment to deliver your connection, which allows for a faster, more reliable service. You therefore need a separate fiber optic cable and ONT (known as an Optix Router) installed by us for your Optix broadband, Xtream TV and phone service.

Once you have placed your order for service and completed necessary pre-requisites like verification and payments, you will be able to book your fiber cable installation within 7 working days. Your service can be activated right away once your fiber cable installation has been installed. You can book your fiber cable installation through Optix sign-up page on our website.

If you have placed a pre-order for service, it may take longer for your Fiber cable installation to become available, as there may be ongoing work taking place at your building, area or in your society.

We’re working as quickly as possible to bring Optix Fiber to your home. We’re still evaluating the results of the site survey but we don’t yet have a specific timeframe for your installation.

Our engineer will drill a small hole (10mm wide), in most cases above your front door or as suggested by you, and will run the cable inside your property. Regular installations include 10 to 15 meters of surface-mounted visible cabling, and requires a power source within this length. The engineer fits the Optix ATB Box and connects the router to it. The entire process can take up to an hour. Your Xtream TV Box and home phone will be connected to the router, so the spot where the Optix ATB Box will be fitted should be planned based on that fact as well. If you are renting please make sure you obtain the landlord’s permission prior to the installation taking place.

Different buildings, areas and societies will have different installation time frames, depending on the building’s age, size, requirements and complexity. The most common timescale for an individual home, the installation usually takes an hour.

Our Standard installations, subscriptions and activation charges are PKR 9,999/- for all new customers.

If you have additional requirements (for example if you would like your ONT installed in a specific room), please contact our Customer Service team on 021-11-11-67849 or email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

If you do wish to book additional time for the engineer to carry out specific requests, please modify your booking through email or contact Customer Service before the day of the appointment so we can do our best to accommodate your request. Please note, there is a charge of PKR 1,500 per hour for any additional time required.

Generally, the standard installation of your Optix ATB Box will include 10 to 15 meters of discreet, surface-mounted cabling from your front door to the closest power socket.

Our home installation team work Monday to Saturday, between 9 am and 6 pm. We are unable to accommodate any special request regarding appointments before 9 am and after 6 pm.
